Yas Island
Yas Island is one of the largest natural islands in Abu Dhabi and also the site of a $40 bn development by Aldar Properties. Scheduled to be completed in 2009, Yas Island will be the host of 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Having its own Ferrari Theme Park, Yas Island will not only be a place for fun and recreation but also a centre for motor sport events.
The toal retail area will be 300.000 m2 containing resorts, villas, the Ferrari Theme Park, golf course and much more. The residential apartments will be low-rise, with option to rent, lease or own.
